Rule #1 never pressure wash a motorcycle. My son wouldnt listen to me and ran the hose over his switch housings and inner dash, kept blowing fuses for over a week until everything dried out. Check all the plug connections to the tail light probably has water in a plug and keeping it on. Narrow it down by isolating the front and rear.

Unplug your rear switch and that will tell you if it is defective.

I only rode home about a half hour so I dont think it's too bad. Do I grab some wax and try or is there another method I should try.
Do you walk to work or carry your lunch?
