I just ordered $500+ from LSHD. 20% and no sales tax is more like 28% plus fee shipping. No dealer around here will do that deal plus they don't stock much (had to order a stock gas cap??) and charge shipping when they order it for ya, then won't take it back when it doesn't fit.

Dawg,
Has there been another New Sales Policy sent out, this August, about selling out of District?
I just got got told no shipping to anybody (Indy's or anyone else) outside there
Dealer assigned District.
Can you shed a little more light on this subject Please

Sounds like BS to me but I do have a good relationship with both of them and find it hard to believe they would lie to me.

That being said, I did get 15% off a Street Stalker fender and mount kit.
They stopped doing that in January.

Just ordered some parts from cyclepartsforless.com (Kutter HD) and am still getting the discounts, plus free shipping on orders over $100.00

Great customer service too!

I am personally going to put the part on someone else bike. Lol

On the plus side, the Cdn dealer prices are getting somewhat closer to par with US pricing...I guess because our dollar is strong. I priced out an Airwing TP rack, and it was only $26 more in Canada.
Is that just the mailbox service type places? I would imagine you could get away with it if you shipped to an actual residential address.

They can keep the products from being sold to Indy shops. But, they can't stop the dealers from discounting. There are a few Federal Laws that prohibit those business practices.

I always get a nice discount at my local dealer. They just do it without me asking. I got a 15% discount on a new seat a couple of days ago.

Perhaps if the locals would stop screwing their customers, then they would stay in business...
