I went to the site and it appears that the information that they don't have them is correct. If that's the case I guess I wont be getting new tires and they'll be getting them back....if so, I'm pissed.

If you go to their website and enter in 2010 road glide custom, it specifies both 'american elite' tires as fitting the bike.....i just looked at the dropdown box however and it appears the tire they say will fit is a 17 inch??

The Commander II is superb, had the Metz but the Michelin is far superior, handling is better, comfort is a little better, no more white lining etc.. plus it is better in the wet.

I love my metz 880's and I picked them up for less than 350 on ebay, that's a 120/70r21 and a 200/60/16.

I recently replaced my stock 407/408 Dunlops tires at 18,500 plus miles with the new Dunlop America Elite tires and hopefully they will last as long.... So far they really hug the road and feel great when riding....

I love the Metz 880s but I am only getting about 8000 miles or less out of a rear tire before running them bald. No, I don't do burnouts and I keep them properly inflated. I do spend most of my riding time solo above 75 mph and the road temps down here are pretty high. They are the best handling tire I've ever ridden but I am sick of changing my tire 2 or 3 times a year. I am about to put a Michelin on the rear. Hope it does as well as they claim. I picked it up for the same price as the same size ME880. Hopefully, I'll have an update in 16-20,000 miles.

I put a set of Commander II's on 5072 miles ago and a guy I work with put some on this weekend. We were looking at them and comparing the 2 for wear and I can say I am very impressed with them so far. As others have mentioned, they have great touring manners and respond well when pushed a little bit too. I know it's a touring bike and not a sport bike, but was safely cornering hard to test the way they react, and again, I am very pleased so far.

How much clearance does the 200/60-16 rear tire leave? I'd love to see a picture of it.

Just bought a set of Commander II's and I'm excited to see how they do. I always used Dunlops on my Night Train.
