Leather C&C Solo with custom stitching.

Is a solo seat mounting kit required or does it mount similar to the regular seat?

 

Thanks Redbeard for all of the information. Solo seat arrived from C&C and installed. Here are a couple of pics.

 

I for one did NOT know this. I went to them as part of the ride-in program. Luckily the program gives you one redo of which i intend to use. I have the same seat but they shaved the foam a bit along the sides to make it easier for me to reach the ground. The problem is it didn't make it easier, or if anything negligible, and it now has less support for my butt. It's okay for short rides, but anything over 2 hours it's not comfy anymore.

 

 

anyone have any suggestion of what model Solo seat would meet my needs. I like the tallboy seat from HD, but hate the big passanger seat when i remove the Tourpak.. looking for confort too in a solo... any photos of a white FLHX so my eyes can see what it looks like with a solo and backrest..
i dont like the stock seat position since it feels like im being pushed to the handlebars

Does anyone have a pic of the c&c solo pushed back and down as far as it will go? What would be perfect for me is that seat with a shot directly from the side. I'm trying to get a profile shot so I can get some gage of how low it will be. I'm 6'5" and want to sit back and down to sit more "into" the bike. If it wasn't so damn uncomfortable I'd just take the damn seat off and ride with my *** against the fender. I wanna get as close to that as possible. I'll deal with a hard seat.
