Default SE Mufflers 64903-99 and 64910-99 ??

Anyone know what the differenceis in fit and sound betweenthese two part numbers for SE touring mufflers? I've been looking on Ebay for a used set and all the descriptions say is "should fit all touring models 1995 and up".

I've also noticed some touring mufflers don't have the "dimple" in the inboard side of theright side muffler. Will the undimpled mufflers fit an Electra Glide Classic, or is there clearance problems with the axle nut?
Thanks,

I have the 64903-99 mufflers on my '06 EGC. These are the "race only" mufflers and were discontinued by SE right after I ordered them back in February of last year. As far as installing them goes, my dealer did that but I don't see that they are any different dimentionally than any other muffler meant for an E-Glide. BTW. I love the sound they make.

I have some Screaming Eagle Performance mufflers P/N 64903-99 that I took off my 2006 Road King Classic after 100 miles as I went with D & D FatCat2 into-ones.. These are not the stock mufflers or the "Touring mufflers"They are reasonably quiet at cruise but are great when you crank on it. They are perfect, no burns, scratches, rubsetc. They have the billet tapered slash cuts as shown in the 2006 catalog, page 568 item #C. I live in MD -fairly close to you for shipping.. Am asking $150.00 plus shipping and PayPal. They originally sold for $295.00 plus $130.00 for the end caps. That's about 35% off and a good deal. You are welcome to pick them up!

If you go to the dealer and look in the 2006 Parts & Accessories book - you will find them. They aren't being made anymore because of the motor company's committment to the EPA and quiet bikes.

If you are interested - please email me!

Thanks,

Dave

Likewise, I just put a set of the SEII's race only and theysound great. I added a PCIII and a Arlen Ness Big Sucker Kit all at the same time. I have put about 400 miles on since and it runs and sounds great! Huge Improvement from stock!I bought the SEII's for $100 used and they are in excellent
shape! They have a throaty sound to them.

I put a set of 64903-99's on my 07 RKC. No install problems and they sound great to me-not too loud and not too quiet.

I have a set of the 64910-99's from when I first bought my Glide. I swapped them for Thunderheaders about a year ago. They sounded pretty good, and looked nice (especially if you liked the dual exhaust look!). I have pics if anyone is interested and wants to make me an offer.

I have a set off the 64910-99 on my 06' RK Custom and I know the stealer don't sell them any more, but I see other members having the 64903-99's on RCK and EGC I don't see a mounting problem with either one. There isn't a dimple on the 64910-99 muffs and I don't have any axle nut clearance problems. I love the sound they had with the H pipe butthey really sound off now with the Fullsac kit.

I had the 64924, same as 64903 only slash up, on my 03 and was happy with them. Not to loud. I now have a 2 into 1 and am more saticfied. Still not to load.I am not into the thinking that load pipes save lives.
