Default 2 ohm vs. 4 ohms Speakers

Okay so i recently upgraded my fairing speakers w/ J&M 7.25 speakers i also installed a Rockford 300x2 amp... but now I'm trying to set up some speakers in my bags on my 09 Road Glide but Im not sure whats best to use for bags? 6x9 2 ohms or 6x9 4 ohms. Note that I am running the system all off my Stock HK deck....

Any insight?

The type of speakers will depend on what the amp you will be using is rated for.

its a 2 channel 300 watt (150 @ 2 ohms) so If I went w/ 4 ohm speakers I would only get 75 watts out the rears but Ive heard that would keep the overheating down?
