Default Cruise Control crapped out on trip.

So needless to say my wrist now sounds like a cement mixer, but I had fun anyway! LOL

Any suggestions on troubleshooting? The console light comes on but the cruise doesn't engage. (08 street glide) I would think that there would be a fuse somewhere, I haven't found anything specific in the service manual.

...sometimes related to a broken brake light switch- are your brake lights working properly?

Check your brake light..... is it on all the time??
If yes then thats your problem.
Check the tightness from the break lever clamp to the switch housing.
If they are not tight together, can come separated from vibration
then the break lever is not hitting the break swith and shutting off the break light. Then the bike thinks the break lever is pulled and shuts off the cruise.

There was a re-call on the rear brake light switches... I had the same problem on my 2010 FLHTC. Once it was replaced, cruise works great!
