I have a Garmin Nuvi 255WT - costs around $150. Mounted on a constantly vibrating Street Glide and it hasn't done me wrong in 2 years. Works with gloved fingers and the best part is that if it breaks, it's only $150 to replace it. Hell, I can buy FIVE new Nuvis for the price on 1 Zumo.
My 660 recalculates within seconds, much unlike the nuvi 2460 I bought not too long ago for the cages. Tell your friends that they require periodic software updates. Mine was giving me a flaky display but an update fixed it. Have had it since shortly after it came out and couldn't be happier.

For about $95, you can buy a nice Garmin NUVI...devide that by the $600 for a ZUMO....you can buy about 6 NUVI's......doubt if you would need 6 NUVI's....I still have one that I used on my Fatboy years ago......in the rain....and it still works fine. I have a ZUMO now....and the MP3 sometimes works...sometimes no.
I would buy another NUVI.

Harmon Nuvi user here as well. I currently have the Nuvi 1430, it has a large screen (5" I think) and I've downloaded all the Harley dealers along with several other POI list as well. I can use it with my gloves and although it's not waterproof it has survived many heavy rain storms. Best part it only cost me around $150.00. Sure I could have spent more money but if if the GPS I bought does everything I need, why?

I have a Gamin Nuvi 40lm and cannot load complete route to it..It loads .gpx files as individual way point under Custom POI's. What a PIA!.
Can someone recommend a Nuvi that will allow me to upload a.gpx file that was created in Harley Road Trip Planner as a route, so all I have to do is select the route and go on the GPS? Heck the 40LM doesn't even have a Select Route feature on it..

If you want Traffic and Weather from XM, then the 665 is the only way to go. I do have a problem with the (lack of) screen brightness, but maybe that's just me.

You need a unit that stores routes. My Nuvi ( yes, Nuvi, NOT Zumo) 550, can do this. You can load as many routes as your microSD card will hold but can only import 10 at a time into the unit. The Nuvi 550 is waterproof to boot. Bought mine from GPS City. About $250 with BOTH auto and motorcycle Ram mounts.
