Default all you bright *** light users.....

hey guys, got a question for you. i have a bal on my street glide and just put one on my wifes dyna. so after insalling the wifes light, i realized that the light is only activated by the front brake. checked my sg and its the same thing. only the front brake activates the light. is this right? i never noticed until yesterday. is it the same way with the stock tail light? love the light, works great just found that strange. maybe i just never took notice.

Just went out to my 08 Ultra with a BAL-1 on it. Both front and rear brakes trigger the stop light.

You need to check your rear brake lite switch.

so if you use your rear brake, you have no brake lights? if that is the case, then you have a problem, and it isn't with the bal. check your rear brake light switch.

+1. Issue could be internal to your bikes. Interesting to hear that both yours' and your wife's have the same problem. BAL works independent of front and/or brake applications. Re-check the install and make sure you followed the directions provided by BAL.

The BAL should work on front and rear brake activation. Check your rear brake switch.
