Thanks for all the info!

BTW, "lemmon-pledge" polish...spray on the micro cloth and apply/wipe on? You can use this on all? Paint, chrome and the black trimed part?

Thanks again...

Thanks to everyone for the lemon-pledge tip! Bike looks super.

Took all the water spots off since I washed it last week...and made it look purty!
The dashboard looks renewed as well! IT really came clean and no white haze.

It did work on the black rear passenger footboards and the leather looking compartments mounted on the front crash bars. BUT for the touring light surrounds...it still left a little haze no matter how heavy I tried to apply it.

So I found that the "TIRE-BRITE" foam stuff you spray on car tires and let drip dry worked super on my touring light surrounds. I sprayed on a new microfiber cloth and applied it. NICE and shiny! And I used it with a sponge on the front vents in the front crash bar are too. WOW they cleaned up nice and look very BLACK now too.

No more wax for me. This combo works super and no white haze or marks left once you are done. And IF you miss some on the buffing it don't look white and waxy as well. The tins and hardbags pop now with the flake and red pinstripe! Very glossy looking for sure. Chrome has some shine too!

MANY THANKS for everyone's help and cleaning tips! BIKE looks best it has and it was very easy to do as well.

Howdy from Blawnox. I've been using Pledge on my bikes for 10 years now. Best stuff you can use. It's easy to apply, it smells good and it's cheap.
I use it all over my Ultra: paint, plastic and chrome.
Hope to see you one of these days. We're very close to each other.

I use the pledge multi wipes. Just wipe it down then go back with a clean microfiber cloth.

Pledge here too, but someone said they might have changed their formula. Haven't bought any recently. Turtle Wax ICE is good stuff too. I use this all over on my truck and the wife's plastic ridden wrangler. Good stuff!

I know pretty much all HD shops around the Burgh but I do my own maintenance. 3 Rivers HD in Glenshaw only sees my bike if I have a warranty issue. I also use Spirit Ready Ride in Millvale when I can't do stuff by myself, like changing tires.

I go to Jergel's Bike Night in Warrendale on Tuesdays and Station Square on Thursdays. I'm gonna shoot you a PM with my cell phone number if you want to hook up.

Luau saturday? Where at?
