I went from an '07 Ultra to an '11 Ultra a year ago and I still miss the '07. This new bike is growing on me but if I can't cure the the front end wobble I will trade it away at some point.

Exactly the kind of feedback I was after Stro,
I am a couple hours away from pulling the trigger on 12 model, and am wondering if I will miss the 07. I have allmost 60K on it, it has given me ZERO issues, and I am curious if the 10K is money well spent for the 2 year warranty, 103 engine, and the changes that have come about.
Rode my '07 FLTR over to test ride a new Road Glide Ultra with the 103" motor when they came out. The Ultra rode ok, but I was a lot more comfortable, & just as quick on my '07 when I got back on it. Decided to keep the '07 & haven't regretted it yet. YMMV.
I traded an '08 SG for an '09 SG and was very happy I did.
The '08 would have a floaty feeling around 18 wheelers and some curves
and the '09 is solid as a rock.
Glad I Rented a '12 FLTR Ultra. My 2000 FLTRSE1 is the bike for me. I saved at least 10k by renting the "new" bike. 6th is worthless unless you are at 65+ in the flat. Had to use 5th in the mountains cause 6th bogs down. My bike on the same mountain interstate roads (North of Phoenix on 17) performed better with the factory 95" over the 103 oven.
Until they get a handle on some of the problems their having with the 2012s it best not to. Dont believe the 13s will have a cure in place so its prob best to stay put on them also.
Sweet,
thank you gentlemen. The exact input I was after
I am playing the mind f*ck that we critters tend to do.
Mama told me just to go ride the damn thing and go from there, so am off to see the wizard...........
