Default 5 Pin adapter for a 1997 ultra intercom

I have searched everywhere, can someone please help me! I'm looking for the adapter for my 1997 ultra that is a 5 pin so I can connect headsets and throat mics. I have seen the 7 pin adapters, but no 5 pin. Also if anybody already has this setup please tell me what you have and how it works for you.

Are you trying to connect a 7 pin DIN headset to a 5 pin DIN on your bike? or the other way 'round?

I'm looking for the most economical and best quality helmetless earphone and mic setup. My bike has 7 pins, but I'm guessing that only 5 of those pins are being used. This is my first Harley and I purchased it last weekend. Really need some help with my options.

A 5 pin DIN plug will plug into the 7 pin DIN plug you have on the bike. The wiring (pinout) is the same. If you find a headset you want to use and it has a 5 pin DIN connector it will work as long as the headset is designed for use on a Harley. My advise is to try it before you buy it or you may end up with a nice looking paper weight.

Not good to guess on this. I found my answers for the pin-outs in my service manual and also in the electrical diagnostics manual for my 2010. And it's never a good idea to assume that connector wiring is "ok". Having wired several microphones for various purposes in my life, one thing is certain...there are few, very few, "sames".

I found this on Ebay - plugs in to my 7 pin and let's me use earbuds with my shorty lid while the wife has full intercom system on her helmet.

Not sure if there are any left but this worked for me.
