Default Foam ear plugs

I had a guy tell me that he never rides without the foam ear plugs that you squeeze and insert in your ears. So I tried it yesterday and what a pleasurable ride. You can still hear the important stuff very clearly and the stuff you don't want to hear is much quieter.ex wind noise, 07 Road King noises. Anyone else use these?

Use them all the time, except for little around town jaunts. You can hear the radio clear and the wind doesn't bother your ears. It is not good for your ears to be tooling down the interstate at 85 without earplugs

I started using them even more since the ear doctor said I have a threshold change.I have constant ringing in my earing from years of not using them. Even use them when cutting grass around the house.

Bought a 4 pack on clearance at walmart for .25 cents but never tried them. I thought they might impair my hearing of important things I need to hear. I'll give'm a try.

I buy the jumbo boxes of a hundred pair. I put a few in a change purse that I keep in my winshiel bag. I think they are in every pocket of my riding jackets.
I just paid $2,200 for a hearing aid. You bet your **** I use hearing protection.

After 13 years of flying in Helicopters, working in automotive plants and having hobbies such as motorcyles (27 yr) and shooting sports, my hearing is weak at best!
I have been using ear plugs on any long rides for many years. They are great for protecting your hearing and also allow you to hear your radio while rolling down the interstate. For those who have not tried this, it will take a little bit to get used to, but you will notice that at the end of the ride they are worth it.

Now you've seen the benefits, get some made especially to fit your own ears. You can use them over and over and they're much eaier to put in.
You can get plain ear plugs or one's with speakers built in for i-pods etc.
