Default RE: Adding Pipes and the Warranty .... What does

My dealership recommended SERT for ping at 130 miles so it was done. Nothing said about warranty violation. When MOCO questioned dealership, for I was chasing satisfaction, dealership denied recommending. My word against their's . MOCO sent me $ 200 to appease me. For this kind of money a SERT probably could come on every bike made. For there are many products out there that " violate EPA " but make your bike run great. The sniff on the DYNO will tell the truth. I'm not trying to make a rocket ship out of my Bagger. Just making it run like it should. The Space Shuttle spews violating ozone eating emissions everytime it blasts off moreso than my lifetime of Harley riding with SERT.

Like a lot of comments on here, I think it all depends on your dearler. They HAVE to give you the legal speach about voiding the warranty. I haven't had any issues, and I upgraded to a 95CI after just 8K miles on my 05. But, I haven't had any problems with the bike either. Enjoy the new pipes.
