After riding a softail for twenty years I got an 04 ultra and was wondering what pegs will work with lower farings Thanx Joel

 

My bike (02 Ultra) has the short arm peg mounts. I have them set so that I can rest my heel toward the front of the floor board and place the ball of my foot on the peg for a real comfy ride.

Starting in '06 ... the lowers are different. You don't have as mush room to mount them as you used to have. Bottom line, depends on how long your legs are. I bought the adjustable peg mounts from Harley (off ebay) and they worked good for me. I have a 31" inseam. The sit at sort of an angle ... back towrd the rider. I'll try and post pics later .... if I remember.

 

'05 Ultra - Kuryakyn ISOwings and Cruise Boards - work just fine with lowers:

 

I got part # 50830-07 It is a 360 degree adjustable mount. You can adjust height and length in small increments. Pretty nice $99.95

 

I currently have the KU ISO pegs, but Santa brought me some Cruise boards. Waiting for the snow to melt to get them on and try them out.

I just installed the same mounts on my 07 Ultra and they clear the lowers perfectly. Man they are heavy.

 

I helped a friend install a set of these on his 07 Ultra. They work great. As stated earlier you will want to angle them inboard some for best comfort. They worked great with the fairing lowers.
