A friend is looking at purchasing an used 2001 UC and was asking me if there were any known issues with this year. Bike he's looking at has 30,000 miles on it. Just wondering if there is anything one should be looking out for on this year. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

 

Make sure the timing chain tensioners are ok and I would recommend replacing with the upgraded cam plate and better oil pump that screaming eagle makes. It's 500.00 but a wise investment.
