I have the helmet pictured (4yrs 64k mi). and wouldn't wear anything else.Of course you have to have a good fit and with the nap strap snugged down comfortably there's no wind buffeting at all.Mod 1602 is the best 1/2 helmet out there imo.A little pricey starts around $290 now I believe and a little heavier than some.I've worn Shoei,HJC,Bell and a few others.

I didn't notice any difference as far as buffeting goes, but I have an 8.5" Klockwerks flare widshield and the HD Adjustable Air Deflector kit so the wind is fairly calm behind the fairing.
I know from checking the air flow while riding that the air stream hits above the visor on my helmet.
Another thing I like about the helmet is that it has a full sized visor, most helmets these days have what I would call a half sized visor and don't really do much.

Mine was $360.50 plus shipping, to me it is worth it to have a helmet this comfortable.
