Default Seat Height SG vs EG

The SG seat height is 2" lower than EG. Is that due to the seat only or are there other reasons the SG is closer to the ground?
thanks

the rear of the SG is 1" lower- lower shocks ( and 30% less shock travel so a stiffer ride)- the front forks are the same length.

the sg seat is about an inch lower, less padding, the seating position is also slightly farther to the rear of the bike.

I use an sg seat and shocks on my EG classic in town and swap to stock when touring

SG has 1" shorter rear shocks than the EG. Not sure about the other inch guess it'd be in the seat, SG does have alot smaller seat than an EG.
