These aren't monkey bagger bars. These are Meathooks and they are 14" and the height for me is perfect. With my C&C seat it allows me just the right reach and shoulder position. I am loving the ride...

There is no tools required to remove ignition. Just follow service manual, but to remove the collar nut you use a 7/8 open wrench. Now when the time come to unlock the fork, you use a small flat screwdriver and stick down in where you removed the ignition "but keep it gentle" and turn clockwise to one click. Now the fork is unlocked and it will now turn freely.

Looks mighty sweet, that paint color rocks in the sun ! ...as some have said, the painted dash is a smart investment of time, effort and $$, considering you look at it 100% of the time. Well done on the DIY. Hope mine turns out as good when the time comes. Cheers.

If you have a local Carquest auto parts store check with them. I got my black pearl paint this way at about 1/3 the cost of the Harley paint.

Wow, major improvement. Looks awesome. I'd like to do mine, but I'm not sure what I should do to complement denim blue.
