My wife and I took off last week and rode the entire Blue Ridge Parkway. Then we headed over to Robbinsville, NC and rode the Tail of the Dragon and the Cherohala Skyway. The next morning we rode back to Deals Gap and took 28 all the way through NC until the 65 turnoff. Rode down 65 then hoped on 215 and rode that back up to the BRP. Stopped over in Little Switzerland and rode the Diamondback 226A. Then rode the BRP back to the start. Total trip 2014 miles. Some awesome riding, if you ever get the chance and have not done it you should.
Sounds terrific, I'm doing the dragon and Cherohala in a couple of weeks and I cant wait.
How do you get those pics? I have this notion that there are photographers along the way who snap your pics and then they are stationed at pull overs and you can buy if you want?

killboys.com is usually set up in the afternoons. You just go to there website, pick the date and time, find your photo and order it. They will usually take a few as you pass by and you can pick all of them or just the ones you like.

Hey Keith there are three or four photographers along the way. Killboy is one and there are others. Once you get throughthe Dragon and stop at Dragon Harley Davidson their cards are there. In about one to two days the pics from that day will be up on their websites and you pick the ones you like.
Have a great trip and be safe. Make sure you check out Rt28 starting in Deals gap. There are some really nice parts to that road. Also if you are taking the BRP stop in Little Switzerland and ride 226A Diamondback.
