Default Horn melted

Well that or just overheated.
Had a strong E wind blowing eng heat on it and it gave up and died.
Day 2 of 7 day trip, local dealer is replacing my 3mo old dead horn.

So water and heat kills HD horns be aware.

I'm going to start a thread ref "Horn Coolers"! It's obviously something we've overlooked. Anyone know of a horn temp gauge?

OK so unnpacked bags & cleaned bike.
By that time bike was cool and horn honked as loud as it ever has.
Guess water and heat are HD horn disablers not killers.

I'm waiting for the recall. It could be that a quarter turn on the tuning screw one way or the other would return it to full service.

Don't laugh. That thread will show up for real soon with the current obsession with measuring the temp of everything.
