I was ready to make a order with Surdyke yesterday. They claim their prices are 20% off. Went to my local dealer with Surdyke's prices and asked if they could match or beat the price. They DID!!! Of course not by much but it was worth the trip and able to have the items in my hand at the time of sale. Just a thought to try your local dealer first. They need to make sales just as much as their competitor...especially since it's the end of the month and they have goals to make.

I have had good dealings with Jon @ horneytoad. Answered product questions well. Made sure a new tour pak was the proper color, locks and keys matched my existing bike set, was clear about what parts I needed so I didn't get the parts and found out I needed more. He held onto some items until I wanted them shipped then shipped them right away. Highly recommend Jon.
I hear New Castle is where Zanotti people went to. If they work the same as they did at Zanotti then they will be good.

My local dealer said, "Zanotti's? 20% off? Never heard of them." You and I both know that any dealer who has been around for more than a week or two knows who their internet competition is. So, Zanotti's got my money. Then I looked around, once Zanotti's started their move, and came across Jon @ Horneytoad. So then Jon got my money. I liked his service most. And his prices were the 20% off like the other dealerships.
And shipping is, typically, lower than California and local sales tax.
(Of course, we all pay these sales taxes as part of our yearly income taxes. There is a place for us to do so on the California annual tax forms. So, we pay our sales taxes on items we bring in to the state regardless of where we buy them. Whether on a trip out of state or over the internet. I am not suggesting that citizens of California would not, on an annual basis, pay sales taxes on everything we purchase.)
