Hey all, just figured id show off the bike after some powdercoat work. Think it turned out pretty good. Also found a nice rats nest inside my fairing. Folks that store your bike during winter, may be worth a peek inside.

Great Looking Ride! I guess the rats did'nt do any damage to the wiring inside the fairing.

Time to set out some traps. My father's truck sat for a couple of months in the barn shed, and mice ate the firewall insulation. Thankfully none of the wires got eaten or damaged. They can do some damage!

I've heard dryer sheets in the pipe and place some under the engine in the winter months will keep the critters away. Just remember to take them out before your first ride.

To keep mice and rats out do this as rats and mice do not like mint:

Soak rags or cotton ***** with a few drops of peppermint oil and place them in areas where you have seen or suspect rats. Kentucky Colonel mint (Mentha cordipholia) is recommended as a type of mint that works well when you use it fresh, but try peppermint, spearmint, pennyroyal and other varieties. Another method is to make a strong tea from mint leaves and then spray it wherever rats are present.

How in the hell did they even get in there? I do not have a Road Glide, but I hope that there are no rat sized holes in my Ultra.

so much for the "gremlin bell" huh? Instead of joining the "hamsters" you're starting a new club, the "rodents"! LOL!

Looks great. I like your L/P relocation. IMO, the silver engine looks so much better than the black.
