Have You Skidded or Tumbled after falling off

I have Cycleport (Motorport) kevlar jacket and overpants, both with lots of good armor. If I am going any distance, particularly on the highway, I wear both. They are supposed to offer excellent protection. I like them and have used them on long week-long rides. Both pant legs have full length zippers on inseam so can be opened or closed according to temp, and I wear shorts under them when hot out. Around town I usually wear only the jacket unless in the 90s or above. A friend has "Slider Pants" with installed armor that he wears on a regular basis. HE likes them and they look for the most part like regular pants (come in jeans of kaki). I'm thinking of getting a pair and am interested in what others have to say about protective pants.

Yep... I said pantyhose. I wear the big girl size.
Actually wearing pantyhose is an old skier and oil field roughneck trick. Helps cut the wind chill and keeps your circulation flowing. Back before we had all these fancy smancy ski outfits, I used to wear pantyhose, long johns and Levis whenever I hit the slopes. On the rigs it was pantyhose, long johns, Levis, and Carharts. When temps are -40° below, you want to dress in layers... same goes for riding your bike.
