What's odd is that there is no lock/key kit that includes the complete mechanism. When I ordered my lock/key kit, it came with just that, a lock and two keys. The various other hardware (latch, nuts, washers, etc.) required had to be ordered from my local dealer, and they said they had to do the same for every TP they sell.

You know it is things like this that really pisses me off with MOCO. We pay a good amount for the bikes and when adding items, they sell them piece by piece, making even more. [:@]

The Moco must've changed that policy, because my chopped TP had no lock or key. I was told by the dealer (Chicago HD) that it would come with one, however. I can't see why you'd want one anyway that wasn't cut for your original key, which I ordered separately, so I wasn't disappointed.
