Unhappy This site is slow loading.

Is this site slow loading for anyone else. All over this site I have to wait and wait for the downloads. I don't notice it anywhere else I surf. Getting to be a real PIA cause I love this forum.

Yep it does for me too. I have found though that using the "Google Chrome" browser it loads quicker. I had been using Internet Explorer and Foxfire.

I use Firefox with the add blocker add-on. Works for great. Otherwise, it is very slow with IE.

I agree, great site but it drives me nut's it's soooo slow! I think there's too much advertising jamming it up, might as well use dial up LOL!

Yep, it's slow because of all of the ads, etc. Once the main part of the page loads, I usually hit the STOP button (or the little red X on the right side of the url bar). That stops the rest of the page from loading, which is just advertising anyway.

I prefer the Mobile version on my smartphone. Not as pretty. It gets the job done.

Explorer, chrome, or firefox, Sunday was especially slow for some reason. So bad i even ran a few malware, and virus tools thinking something else was going on with my system. Seems back to normal this morning though.

Same here but cannot really complain, great site and loads of useful information. I just kick start it and let it idle a bit before hitting the throttle.
