Anyhow, I took a couple of pics with my phone before I came in the house. I really dodged a bullet today because it could have been much, much worse but it still sucks!!
Sorry to hear, but glad it wasn't worse.
Iam/have been dealing with 4 ruptured disc and 2 compression fractures, so I feel for you.
PT 3 times a week helps, Percocet's help more

Here's to a speedy recover for you and your bike

Default Lesson Learned?

Sorry for your misfortune. Wishing you the speediest of recoveries! Screw the bike - metal can be unbent, you not as easily. It's a lesson learned, not so much the easy way! People here want to point out fault but I prefer to remind myself of what can be learned from everyones experiences. Slow down, smell the roses, enjoy the ride and for G-ds sake, keep my head out of my ***!

Sciatica and ruptured discs suck. I have had back surgery because of it. Follow Doctor's orders, and get physical therapy. PM me if you have any questions.

Glad you had the helmet on to take that hit by the looks of it. Be sure to take your meds and don't try to tuff it out because the muscles have to relax so the disc can slip back into place.

Default Ouch

Sorry to hear about the accident.
You might give acupuncture a try if your insurance covers it.

Heal well, follow Dr. Orders.
