Tour Pack quick detach

it works great!
the cost is kinda high.
and the kit best meets the requirements for those who are taking it on/off alot.
alternatively, to bolt/unbolt the tour pak on/off takes about 30 minutes.
I have found that although past bikes I had the tour pak on all the time, this one I have it off except when touring.
so on/off 2 or 3 times a year.
so in the end, for my use, I should have saved the $$$ and just used my wrenches.
wiring depends on model I have the FLHTC ( no cb, no rear speakers) so less complicated.

My TourPak is only on for road trips or if I have to go shopping on the bike. So in my case I love the detachable kit. If you're addicted to your TourPak and it's spacious capacity then you may not remove it much. In my case I prefer the stripped down bike most of the time, so the detachable is a must.
It's plenty sturdy in my experience. No problem with that. Though on a road trip I do remove the TP and bring it into the motel room with me (don't have the lockable latches). Not a big deal, just saying that's what I do.
