Removed mine on every bike I have had. Far as the back ones on the latches, I used the spray tint that I used on my tourpak lights.

Looks great. Much better! Thats the first thing I did when I pulled in my garage after the initial purchase and first ride. That and the bag reflectors as well. Picked up some nice chrome with black lined inserts for the bags from Drag Specialty.

My state DMV sometimes makes an issue of missing reflectors during registration renewal inspections. Seems to depend on the person doing the inspection. Just took my Sporty through the DMV inspection lane and the guy thought I should have amber turn signals in the rear even though I had the brake light/turn signal conversion which requires red lenses. They previously gigged me for missing red rear side reflectors! You might want to save any reflectors that were removed so that you can temporarily tape them on to avoid problems at the DMV!

I'm torn on that. I kind of like a little subtle contrast.

You can easily put the side reflectors on for inspections using the 3M Command™ strips. They are the ones with the pull tabs that come off easy!

i used dental floss to remove all my reflectors along with the hideous chromed plastic harley davidson tank emblems. the dental floss is easy to use if you use a sawing motion which cuts through the gray foam adhesive.
