RE: anybody get their street glide yet?
Well I'll have part of a SG on my E Glide,My buddy just got his last week and he orderd the aluminum guages for it so I bought his white face guages for $150.00 .He's having the 100 hp 95er built for it right now and going crazy with the rest of the bike. This guy rode a Road Glide for 3 months and is trading it for the Street Glide.I guess it pays to be the Gen. Mngr. at the H D Dealer.

Thats a nice looking bike. Those pictures are as close as I can get to one right now. Called 4 dealers today trying to find one, no luck. If I wanted to buy one I'd have to wait until the middle of October, at the earliest. Plus out here in San Diego they are going for $21,500. out the door. That just seems high when you look at the EG Standard. I wonder how much it would cost to put a radio in one. The EG is only 16,000 out here.

I got mine for listed retail price here in canada plus $380 for security and $1700 to install the 95" big bore kit, there is another vivid black one in the showroom at a stealer about 150 miles away that was not sold when I was there on the weekend.

I sign paperwork today for a SG that is costing 22k OTD...the dealer puts chrome front ends on all of theirs to justify the mark up...I honestly don't car..the only other won I found between fresno and Los angles was 20k OTD carbed. I wasn't particular about purchasing from a dealer 400 miles away from home although I did drive to see it and put a deposit..go figure. Anyway I take delivery Saturday as I can't ride home today dealing with the Wifey!

I picked my Vivid Black Street Glide up two weeks ago today. Already have 2,500 miles on her! I'm coming off of a V-Rod. Quite a different ride. The V-Rod is a powerful scary machine, where as the Street Glide is just a sweet *** looking touring Harley.
After these two weeks I just might sell the V-Rod.

I purchased my Street Glide 4 weeks ago, I am very pleased, this is my first Harley. I was looking at the Fat Boy and Night Train for years, but when I saw the Street Glide I knew this is what I wanted. Never wanted a touring bike, but to me this looks very sporty as well as functional. Enjoy your ride.
