trying to install some extra brake lights on rear fender side flare panel, like the CVO's have. For brake light only, Im to wire into the red /yellow wire, and ground the black.
No when tracing the rear lighting and brake lights they come up to the side panel left side of bike (if sitting on it). Theres a plug there to program the ecm, and theres another smaller plug that I assume is for a tour pack accessories lights. If I put my lights ground wire into one slot and the other wire in to the other slot in plug, they work fine as brake lights only, which is what I want. Is this the best place to wire into the wireing for an extra brake lights? I really dont want to splice or cut into the wiring if I dont have to.
Or is there a more ideal or better area to merge into?

I installed some led dual intensity stips on my two filler panels.They work as run and brake lights. I will post pics of it later for you.
