Default air hawk or air hawk2 pros and cons

Trying to get the pros and cons between the two, beside the fact that one cost half as much as the other. Thanks

The secret to the airhawk is that you need to use the least amount of air possible.

I know it sounds strange, but the less air you use, the better it works. I bought for my old heritage. Once I figured out the right amount of air it doubled my max seat time....

The diff between the 2 is the material they are made from... the more spendy 1 is a much higher quality material.

Does this mean the less expensive one is less comfortable or just less durable? Thanks

I only have the more expensive one, so can not comapir directly, but I would think comfort would be equal, just a durability issue

I have both and the only difference is the less expensive one is not designed to be repaired. I bought the first for my Heritage with a Corbin (concrete) seat after a couple thousand miles wandering around on the road and ending up at the 100th anniversary in WI with a sore butt and crotch rot. I had serious doubts about anything helping. The sales guy / company rep had me set on it filled with air, released air until I just bottomed out on the seat, then put one more "puff" back in it. Like a previous post said, the less the better, all you want is enough to keep you from touching the seat when in your riding position. They are great and an added bonus is they insulate you from the heat build up in your seat from the rear head and exhaust. Of course you'll get ribbed for using it........
