I had the exact opposite experience most people seem to describe. It felt like I was being blown all over the freeway. I know that the frame mounted fairing is supposed to be better, but the batwing felt a lot more stable to me. Part of it could be psychological because I am used to the batwing. I was very seriously considering the RG until I rode one.

I was going back and forth between the Street Glide and the Ultra. Then the salesman offered me the Ultra for the same price, so I grabbed it.
