The air temp gauge is supposedly for the air temp around you (ambient). It's a waste of time. Mine is always wrong. My oil pressure gauge is always very low at idle when the engine is warm, sounds about like yours.
I strongly believe in synthetic oil in the crank and primary. Conventional oil in the tranny.

 

Why only conventional oil in the tranny?

 

Another one I just thought of, what octane fuel does my bike take? God I feel stupid lol, bike did not come with owners manual.
