Comfort over style or do you still want style when on our longer journeys? I run stock 85% of the time and hammock for longer jaunts and when the wife is on the back. It was the most comfortable of all the seats I was able to try.

Police seat style with the air bladder shock is hard to beat. Sit and inch or so higher but no problem for me. Put a rear seat for two up and good to go.
Rides like you are gliding.

The Sundowner is on my bike in my pix....
+1 This is what I do as well. The sundowner is great for long rides two up.

I really like the 2011 stock seat, but my wife hates it as there is very little padding on the back seat and as I ride everyday, she is usually on the back at some point 3-5 times a week. I got a Rally Runner and she loves it, looks great on the bike and it's fine for short trips, but not good for me on long trips. Really thinking about a sun downer but wondering how that would fit with my short backrest...?

C&c fastback here and I love it. Did over 300 miles in one day last week and felt great.
