My buddy's Road King started doing the same thing, ran rough at idle, then ran rough all the time, finally had to pull over as he couldn't maintain more than 5mph. Turned out he had water in the ECM plug, when he pulled it apart water poured out and the pins had started turning. Dried the connector and cleaned the green off of the pins, ran like a champ after that.

Yes I have a friend who had a similar problem when his battery went bad,lol That was last year and I do have a new battery now, 12.56 v standing and over 13 when the throttle is twisted, I also cleaned and changed the plugs with a few others I still have. Still the same bounce in the engine and I did try to adjust the fuelpak with a little more warm idle gas but still the same

had the same problem recently...basically irratic idle and unusally low idle RPM to the point that if I did not wind the RPMs up a bit...the bike would shut off. Problem was the IAC , which was probally dirty, but with my tuner, easy to re-calibrate.....and after doing so.....the problem never returned. SO something to check into..

Well let me see, I decided to take the Bike to DC for Memorial Day Rolling Thunder, I did take the V & H Longshots off a few weeks before the ride and put Samson Legendary Cannons on the bike, I have bung holes for 02 sensors and am thinking the Fuelpak is not able to make the necessary adjustments, or the Harley ECM need's to be remapped so I decided on a Daytona Twin Tec setup, this way I can do the adjustments when needed. I have a feeling the bike was running way to lean
