Default 08 Ultra Excessive Lean w/21" Front-18" Rear Wheels

Hello,

For all of you out there that have put a 21" front and 18" rear wheel on what did you do about the significant change in the lean angle when you put it on the jiffy stand?

My EZ-Up center stand no longer works because of the change in height so have to use the jiffy stand but it is damn frightening to see it leaning so far over....

Appreciate any suggestions.

Ride Safe!

Shaun

Have you thought about a longer (bigger) jiffy bar? Seems that would stand your bike up so the lean angle is not so bad.

When I put my 21" on, I lowered my bike. So I actually had the issue of the stock jiffy standing my bike to much up right. I went with a shorter version of the HD jiffy stand and now my lean is normal.

When I put my 21x17 combo on I also lowered the front 1" it helped but was still leaning over more than stock.
I never did find a longer Jiffy stand.
I'd say you will never get your Wheeldock stand to work. Sell it, plenty of buyers for one in the classified section.

Check out this thread. Had the same issue with my 08 SG and this is how I fixed it.

I liked it so well I also did it to my stock height Ultra to make it a little easier to get up off the stand.
