adhesive off ?

lighter fluid or wd 40.

lighter fluid is easier to clean up afterward.

I had the HD lid covers on my 06 and they were a perfect fit, they had to be stretched over the lids very tightly, but the velcro always held great, maybe HD has a new supplier now.
Mike, can you still even buy lighter fluid?....lol

..... yeah, getting the HD covers to fit snugly requires some tugging & stretching, which puts a lot of strain on the velcro adhesive.
........ if i'd known then what I know now, i'd'a likely gone w/a different style
.... that said, i'm really glad i put the lid bras on, they've certainly saved those lids a lot of grief !

I have the Mustang covers and they are great. Elastic straps, no velcro.
