Default Road king bars

A buddy bought a 2004 road king with beach bars on it and has the stock bars. He wants to try the stock bars out. But he wants to know if he has to change any cables? Any help is grateful. Thanks.

When the bars were changed, they may have went with +3" or something like that on the cables. Look at a stock setup and compare if you can.

he will be fine. highly unlikely the cables were shortened for the new beach bars. also unlikely they were signifigantly lengthened.

I changed to the RK II beach bars and it is borderline on the cable length....if I went with full blown wheelbarrow beach bars...I would have needed to get extended cables...

my 07 had wide beach bars on it when I got it. I put some road king pull back bars on it. all the cables were long enough. In fact the clutch cable is a bit to long now.
