Default worst windshield ever

Received my Klockwerks windshield yesterday looks very nice but. When you look through the windshield where the fancy curve is the view is distorted. I live in Canada so a return will cost me a small fortune. Thinking about cutting it down. Try one of these before you buy one.

You're not supposed to look through a Klock or any of the recurve windshields for that matter. You are supposed to look over them. You may want to contact Klock to get some help with sizing the windshield for you. They were great to talk to when I called them.

My 8.5" Klock is the greatest thing since sliced bread on my 2010 Ultra.

Good luck.

Yep, what he said about not looking through it. Maybe you should have found a dealer that was doing the try before you buy. It's not the windshields fault you got the wrong size. I tried the 8.5" and did not like looking through it (I was not tall enough). The 6.5" is perfect and I enjoy it.

Put it up for trade.
I'll bet that there is someone in Canada that has the 6.5 that would like the 8.5.

I agree with the OP. I couldn't get the KW of my RG fastest enough. It looked good, but it directed all air right to my forehead and ears.

How tall are you? I'm 5'-8" and running the 6.5 and it's perfect for me. As the others said you want to look over it, not through it. I am looking well over the top of the 6.5, but it still provides impressive protection. The lip diverts wind and bugs over the top of my helmet and the "hips" on the shield smooth the airflow to the sides.

Never, tried one as the look just doesn't appeal to me. Quite a few people have them and think they are great, sounds like you may have the wrong height, as others have said. I have an Ultra recurve from long ride shields and am very please with both the look and performance.
