Default '12 Limited wheel weights falling off

How many of your guys are falling off. They are held on by 3M tape I believe. I noticed one of mine (6 total) on the front was hanging by a thread and a few others are loose. The scoot is 3 weeks old. It goes in for service soon and Ill bring it up at the dealer. Anyone??

I used Dyna Beads my last tire change, I am extremely happy with them and eliminated them ugly wheel weights.

I have the Limited Wheels on my 09 Classic and have never had a weight come off.But I do have a heck of a time getting the remaining old paper and goo off from the old weights when I get a new tire installed and balanced.

Had a front end wobble at slow speed on my 2010 Limited about 2 years ago. Turned out the wheel weights had come off. No problems since.

Never could keep weights on my original wheels. There is no flat area on the wheel to properly install weights.

The dealer finally just gave me a stick of weights to replace them as they came off.

Finally fixed it for good when I upgraded to the Harley Airstrike wheels.

Cool Balancing wheels and tires

DYNA BEADS. I SAY AGAIN, DYNA BEADS. Seems like 6 weights are way too many. Sounds like heavy duty problem. Let dealer look at them first. I found the beads to work as advertised. If tires and wheels are in specs, maybe try the beads. Instructions are simple but procedure must be followed. Couple of tricks to get "em in. PM me for more thoughts.

Just put dyna beads in the tire and go on with life. One ounce in the front tire and two ounces in the rear. Life is good when your riding.

I sure hope you have the extended warranty. Mine fell off just after the original warranty ran out and I had to pay for a new balance. Hind sight my friend.

Who needs an extended warranty if they don't ride enough to wear out a set of tires in TWO YEARS?

If that's the case... think that getting two tires balanced would be slightly cheeper than an extended warranty.

Or did I miss something?

Just sayin'
