Hill Country Customs sells them in Kits, I put 13" Black apes on my 2010 SG and could not be more pleased. Barely raises my hands above the fairing, came with everything needed for install, cables and wire extensions and I paid $535 with shipping.

You are exactly right, it needs to be done based on want and fit and not by the added expense of cables and lines. You will be disappointed if decision is based off changing out cables.

Man, I can make mine look like that? Is that a reach seat? Looks great man. How wide are the bars? I feel like I am leaning too far forward but the Harley bars are only 31" wide and I'm worried that the wider bars may be too wide for my stubby little arms.

My vote goes for carlini gangster apes and a height of 16". That's what's going on mu bike. But mines also a road king.
