I recently purchased my first Harley its a 1990 electra glide. The guy i bought it from had removed the trunk and put a different seat on it witch doesnt bother me at all but the wife thinks otherwise. So now ive been looking around trying to find a different seat and backrest but im having a hard time coming up with anything ive looked on ebay and went to a couple local dealers and they couldnt help me at all and it seems like all the major dealers go back to 1997 and thats all. Could somone point me in the right direction or give me some ideas of where to look.

 

Mustang, Lepera, Saddleman, Corbin and Drag Specialties all make multiple seats for your year glide.

a Factory backrest - that is tougher to find, you can scour ebay and search at multiple shops for new old stock.

You can make the factory HD 97 to 2008 quick detach docking setup work for your year glide with a little fab work and then use a factory HD backrest from 97 up.
