These pipes "rip"! If I were you, throw in a set of cams at the same time and be done of it...

I have a black propipe. I absolutely love the deep rumble when I crack the throttle.
I would get a dyno tune with that pipe. They are known to ad 15-20 and an increase like that you are going to need to ad fuel,

I have the Pro Pipe Chrome on my 2011 103 FLHX. I have put on about 4,000 miles with this pipe. The pipe performs very well but is a little too loud for me. I just bought the quiet baffle but have not put it in yet because I can't get the other one out. I may have to use a slide hammer. When I say the pipe is loud what I mean is after 2 or more hours the sound is exhausting to me. If the quiet baffle does not quiet her down enough I will have to try another exhaust set up. I called V&H and they told me the Pro Pipe Chrome is around 104 decibels. The quiet baffle will bring that down to around 100. If I were you I would really think about how loud you want your bike to be if you will be spending a lot of time on it. It is expensive to change exhaust and to have another dyno tune done. I have a SE Ventilator AC, SE Super Tuner, and had the bike dyno tuned. The numbers I got were 76 HP and 87 ft-lbs torque. The power curve is very smooth.

I have the V&H Pro Pipe on my CVO Ultra -- love the power and the deep rumble. I was a bit worried about the sound on long trips, but just completed a 1500 mile trip with no issues. Pics in album. SJ Ron

Couple of mine.

I love the ProPipe. Best sounding Pipe IMO I've heard so far. WAY more tq in the lower rpms than the FatCat it replaced.

Had the same problem with my V&H Pro Pipe. Regarding getting the baffle out, try warming up the bike a bit, use some penetrating oil. I used a vise grip on the inner pipe and tapped it with a hammer to rotate it a little while pulling. Took a while but eventually slid free. Standard baffle was a little loud for me. I took some fiberglass packing and added it to the long internal pipe to soak up some more sound. Worked for me. Probably have to repack every 10K or 20K miles or so.

Use a rubber strap wrench and just spin the baffle back and forth.
