We've been through a few seats. All of this is just an opinion, there is an azz for every seat

Stock seat = Terrible
Sundowner = Better
Mustang solo and rear pillion = Better Still
Mustang Regal = Best

These are my fiances opinion. I was fine with everything except stock. I use the solo by myself and the regal that we just got for the two of us. I also added rider adjustable pegs for her the beginning of this year.

When I first got the bike she needed off after 45 mins. Yesterday, with the Mustang Regal seat and the pegs she was fine when we stopped after 2 hrs.

I'm not a huge fan of the look of the regal on my bike, but "a happy passenger is a happy ride".

I wouldn't buy new, you may find that you need to try a few before you find the right one for you. I bought the Regal from someone here for a fair price in perfect condition.

 

I have a 99 RK and when I bought it used it had a Corbin solo on it. Nice looking but broke my *** riding it. I'm off leather seats now. Switched to a mustang solo and love it. My wife's Street Bob had a stock solo and we put a mustang dual on it, It is also very comfortable and they are less expensive than some.

 

My Mustang took me back almost two inches and up at least one inch, disappointing cuz they claim it lowers you? After it broke in it was good, but before it was a tad stiff....very subjective.
