Better to see if you can try both out first, the Mustang seatwill move your position up and forward. Corbin will move you back and down.

Both are good seats though.

My wife likes my pillow look seat but itcost like buying a sofa
It does make you sit a little forward. For comfort I would recomend it sometimes you can find them on e-bay reasonable.

Same dilemma as everyone here. I'm fine. the misses isn't. Based on several recommendations we bought the HD comfort stitch for the RK. She was fine but I felt like I was riding on the gas tank.

Sent the comfort stitch to Allan at Mean City Cycles. He took me back and down and added the triple decker to her area. Now we're both happy campers. IMHO, I just don't think there is an off the shelf saddle that makes rider and passenger happy.

I'd vote for the HD Sundowner also. Had an '05 RKC also and yes, the stock seat is one of the worst ever! Put on the Sundowner and life was good. Put several 600-800 mile days on it and no problems for the rear at all. Wife was much happier also. Now with the Ultra, she rarely complains. Or I'm just getting better at not paying attention! Ride safe.

My wife and I are about the same size as you and your wife and I have a 2006 RKC. When we first bought the bike, the stock seat was useless for both her and me. I quickly bought a Mustang seat which was better but a bit on the hard side for here...I liked it and particularly like how it positioned me. We ended up buying an Ultra Classic seat...Harley makes one that is made to fit the RKC. Frankly, its as comfortable as I have found and my wife can now do the longer trips. We also played with the floorboard adjustments and added extensions to get everything just so. Also put the large pad harley back rest on...makes all the difference in the world. I sold the Mustang seat on Ebay and got as much as I paid for it

The only thing wrong with a HD Sundowner is, you can't mount a backrest on it. Man did I screw up!

Mustang is the only one for me! Have tried many others, always seem to come back to a mustang.

I've got an '07 King Classic with the stock seat, rider and passenger QR backrest. I bought a new HD solo deep bucket Sundowner and then realized I can't have a back rest. I have an old combat related injury in my lower back and if I don't take care, it will drive me up a wall. For those that have had both stock and Mustang seats with back rest on a RK Classic, how would you compare them?

I found a nice used studded Mustang seat with backrest for a 1996 RK . Will it fit my '07 Road King?
