Default Removing baffles in SE slip ons

Just bought a street glide that a guy put slip on SE pipes but it's not quite loud enough for me. Are the baffles removable ? If so is it just removing the two screws on bottom at the rear?

If that is done, does it need a tune up at the dealership? Only other performance mod was a SE air cleaner.

What year is the bike?
If they are the "Nightstick" version, the screws on the bottom do not have any effect on removal of the (baffle) plates.
There are 5 torx bolts around the perimeter of the closed end-cap. One of the torx bolts requires the use of a "security" torx which is available at Lowe's or other hardware store. Also, for more sound you can go with an open end cap available from H-D or SuperTrapp, the mfg. of the exhaust.

If there the usual 4" CVO mufflers, remove the 3 torx bolts, and remove end cap. Use a die grinder with a burr and remove the weld holding the baffle in. Drive baffle out from the front. Newer higher flow baffles are available from several companies, Fullsac, Cycle Shack and so on. Im about to order the Fullsac baffles myself, should result in much more noise, and yeah a re-tune would be ideal.

actually the supertrapp style baffle, packing, disc stack and end cap are all held in place with the 2 screws on the side of the muffler. The whole thing comes out.

- and correct in that the supertrapp/nightstick/fatshots are tuned/adjusted by changing the end cap and number of discs in the stack.

these mufflers are infinitely adjustable for performance characteristics ( torque vs horsepower) and sound.

supertrapps techs have pointed out that removing the packing will negatively impact performance, gas velocity slows
