I need the same thing. I've been "dealing" with my cable at the end of it's ajustment for over a year now. Dreading removing the f'ing exhaust. I'll be calling them as well. Thank you!

It took all of five minutes to install. I dreaded removing the exhaust as well but thankfully I didn't have to do it.

Thanks guys. I've been fighting this for a couple weeks. I picked up a new (used) custom, and the clutch release bearing was froze up from sitting (2003 with only 4600 miles). After replacing it and the push rod, I had same problem with cable adjustment. Bought a new braided cable from v-twin and same issue! Adjusted many a clutches, but this one had me using various 4 letter words! Gonna go spin off a spacer on the lathe and see if it solves my problems.

Will this cable spacer work on the stock cables on a 2010 Ultra? I have the same adjustment issue. Thanks.

Default perfect

This thread is a perfect example of why this forum is so awesome. I've been having this problem with these clutch cables for some time. Glad Barnett is stepping up and providing spacers. A few years back Harley started using the ez pull linkage in the baggers for sure and I don't think the cable companies compensated for the longer arm on the linkage. Internal cable should have been shorter by about 1/2" for awhile now, but no matter where I purchased aftermarket cables from was getting the same issue...running out of threads on the cable adjuster before enough slack was removed. Thanks to the OP for getting this thread going and thanks to roadstarca for posting pics of the spacer.

I am really glad i ran across your post! I have a new Barnett Stealth cable along with my Bandit clutch. I have a LOT of free play at the lever and no adjustment left. I bought an aftermarket EZ Pull kit, and planned to use the included spacer where it goes into the tranny. Today I called Barnett and they are sending a couple of the spacers above, so now I am saved a lot of work. THANKS!

BTW they said the spacers only work with their cables.

for those of you with the cable spacer from Barnett, is it true that it will only work with their cable? I need one, and have the stock cable.

If you have the stock cable you have other issues that need to be sorted.
