Default SE high compression pistons for SE254 cam

I think this may be the difference in performance of the SE254. (Just thinking). Input from you experienced dudes and chicks will be greatly appreciated.

The 254Es don't have enough duration to run with high compression pistons, not a good combination.

Thanks all. I'm rethinking my project.

probably a good idea. I am running 254e's in my 2011 rgu (103) and it pulls nice thru the range and gets great mpg. If I had to do it over tho I would go andrews 57s as andrews says they are taylor made for stock 103 compression and the couple people that have done them are saying good tq and hp.

I really like my 255's. Sure they don't have as much high rpm horsepower as some of the other performance cams, but they pull so great down low and into the mid range rpm's. I've got 102lbs torque at 2800 rpm's.
