Default LRS Windshield Question for RK Owners

Anyone running the 19" medium tint on their RK? If so what do you think of the tint? Do you like the medium tint or wish you would've went with the light tint? Than ks for the replies.

Depends on how talk you are. I am running a 17" shield (another company's) and I look just over it so the tint does not impact my vision. I hae the light tint and I enjoy it since most of my riding is done in bright light and it seems to cut the glare. Now if you are one of those guys who look through the shield and ride at night, I can see there might be an issue.

I have the light tint 19" and it's one of the darker light tinted shields. I'm 6'3", and look way over the top of the shield so it never bothers me. I only use it on longer trips mainly to keep the wind off my torso.

I have a 19 inch LRS on my 2007 FLHRS-Road King Custom, I went with the extra dark tint
and I don't have any problems. I also have one with light tint, but it is only a 15 inch it is
OK, but I get more wind buffeting with it. My bike is Black so the Dark tint was the look that
I was after. I am 5' 7" and I look over the top just fine, at 66 I am in to comfort on the road
when running 70 to 75 MPH. Comfort is what I get from the 19 inch LRS windshield.

I went with the 19" medium tint
Works great, no complaints.
I haven't done a night ride with it so no comment there.
I'm 5'8" and could have probably gotten away with the 17" but went with 19 and it's fine.

For what it's worth, I prefer our medium tint the best. Most people don't have problems seeing through it if necessary. The light is enough to cut glare, and reflections from chrome, cars etc, but the medium is def my favorite. Just my .02
